Studio 1904 is the only black-owned barbershop located in the heart of Downtown San Diego.

We came to bring life back to the downtown barber scene. We take the time to get every little detail just right and we strive for authenticity - giving the people that Old School Barbershop feel with laughter, jokes, music, snacks, and positive vibes.

Our goal is to see you pass that mirror with a big smile and leave with that extra bounce in your step.

  • A fade blended from either shadow or skin into the style of your liking.

  • An Afro shaped round or a flat top.

  • A cut even with a line up.

  • A cut with shears on the top with a fade on the side with a hard part or no hard part.

  • A line up to your full beard or mustache and trimmed to your liking.

  • A razor shave for the head and face. Hot towel available upon request.
